I said a couple of says ago he might be the guy that intrigues me the most.

Tim Murray has given him the best of both worlds: a clean slate AND a boatload of cash. Not many players get that.

I think you have to be fair. Three years ago, he was having another great year when he was injured in the 62 game (I believe) and out for the season.
Then, he ruptured his Achilles heal in training. Fortunately, that was the shortened year and he came back to start the season in January with everyone else.
Unfortunately, his injuries were not healed and he only played 12 games and back to the operating table.
Last year, he was fully recovered and played a few games when Laviolette was fired and Mez ran into a Coach who completely destroyed his confidence by repeatedly benching him without ever giving clear reasons. He still ended up with good stats on offence and defence.
He really has got a chance to be comfortable again and I believe he will be a top offensive and defensive player.

Also, take a look at his work at the Olympics on a weak team.
He played well and I don't believe he was on the ice for any goals against.

BTW, Bill Meltzer is not necessarily the right guy to talk to as he has regularly over a number of years had an axe to grind re Meszaros.
A better contact might have been Sam Carchidi.

On the other hand, I'm probably not the best guy to listen to either as I have followed many of his games over the past decade and I think he is just fine. A very good player.

The play on the ice will decide.

It's super windy. 2nd and 4th quarters are gonna be the only quarters we can throw in.

Hackett is horrible wind or no wind, let EJ throw the ball. I understand about the wind but they gotta let him throw.

I live right by the stadium. Wind died down for a good minute and he connects with a deep bomb. That's the only problem with open top stadiums. Damn weather

I won't do this all game lol. Ej ain't a good passer to begin with and I don't know how good he is at reading the d. Rivers has been around awhile as is a top tier qb.

Manuel's best game last year was the home game against the Jets, where the wind was worse than today.
